In the years 2022-2023, students from around the world will be able to apply for the fully-funded Fulbright Scholarship.
Only students pursuing a master’s or doctoral degree are eligible for this award. Scholarships and financial aid for foreign students are provided via the Fulbright Foreign Student Program.
The goal of the Fulbright scholarship program is to give students from diverse backgrounds the opportunity to study in the United States.
People from historically underrepresented groups, such as the poor and minorities, are given preference when it comes to awarding the scholarships.
Foreign students from over 155 countries have received Fulbright Scholarships from the United States of America since 1946, when the program was first established.
The purpose of the fellowship is to provide financial assistance to deserving international students so that they can complete their graduate degrees and carry out world-class research in the United States.
Graduate and PhD-level study or research at a U.S. university can be funded for up to five years by this award, which is awarded on the basis of academic achievement.
To this day, AMIDEAST continues to assist many Fulbright scholars in taking advantage of the unique chance to study abroad in the United States and finish their fellowships to the fullest.

How can I apply for a Fulbright Scholarship in 2022?”
Interested applicants should follow the steps below to apply for a Fulbright Scholarship in 2022.
(Step 1) Create a Web-based Form
In order to be considered for the Fulbright program, you must gather a number of documents that will aid the USEFP in determining your qualifications.
A complete application package must be included with your submission.
2. Prepare academic records and degrees
A four-year undergraduate degree or its equivalent, including overseas three-year bachelor programs or the ACCA, must be submitted as documentation.
Applicants for the PhD program are required to submit copies of their MPhil or MS diplomas, as well as official transcripts.
In the final year of undergraduate study, you can apply as long as you receive your degree by December of this year. –>
If your GPA isn’t enough, the USEFP takes an overall look at your transcript.
You’ll be ranked based on your education, the courses you completed, and how well you did in each of them. They also take into account the varying grading systems at different universities.
It’s not necessary to have a 3.5 GPA to apply, although the majority of Fulbright Scholars who succeed do.
The Fulbright panel evaluates applicants based on a variety of factors, including their academic performance in college.
3. Take the GRE General Test and the TOFEL test
Your official GRE score, if you’ve received it, can be included in your application, even if your unofficial score was given on the day of the test.
Each applicant must use the code 9388 to ask ETS to send USEFP an official score report.
At the time of application, GRE general (international) test scores are necessary.
For Engineering and Sciences, the GRE requires a score of 315+, while other fields require a score of 310+. There is no need to take the GRE subject test.
To be considered for the Fulbright, you must have a verbal GRE score of 138 and a quantitative score of 136.
GRE scores in the high percentiles are often required for admission. It is possible to take the GRE numerous times, and Fulbright will only look at your best score.
Application submissions don’t necessitate TOEFL scores at this time. If you’re contacted for an interview, you’ll be required to take the TOEFL exam.
IELTS isn’t good enough.
4. Prepare Two Essays.
The Fulbright application requires two essays. As stated in the entry form, each essay must be no more than 800 words in length.
You don’t have to be an expert in your field in order to impress the Fulbright panel, so don’t go overboard in your writing.
You’ll need to come up with a marketing strategy for yourself before you begin writing the essays. Writing and revising essays for college admissions often takes 4-6 weeks for top-notch candidates.
5. Three letters of recommendation are needed.
Before the application deadline, you must provide the names of three referees with your application.
Three academic letters of recommendation are acceptable, as are two academic and one professional letter or two professional and one academic letter. A single academic reference letter is required.
A reference form is included in your application package, and it must be filled out and sealed by your referees.
Referees will receive an email with a link to an online form once you’ve submitted your online application.
Choosing a reference writer is an entirely subjective process. USEFP does not wish to endanger your existing position by requesting a letter of recommendation from your current employer.
Find people who are familiar enough with you to be able to answer these questions. A former employer, instructor, or researcher could be the source.
6. Organize your academic transcripts
The section provided on the application form should be filled up with the most recent version of your resume.
Having it in a specific format is not required.
The seventh step is to fill up and submit the online application
The Fulbright program does not charge an application fee. In order to apply, you must do so online.
Eighth, a meeting
You may be asked to participate in a panel interview once your written application has been considered.
Interviews are done in October after interview decisions are determined in mid-September. If you haven’t heard anything from USEFP by the end of October, you’ve been disqualified.
Even though an interview is a good predictor of selection, it does not ensure acceptance. A panel of four people conducts 15 to 30 minute interviews.
It is not required for you to have taken the TOEFL exam by the interview date, but you must bring your TOEFL registration slip to the interview.
