Middle East and North Africa: Algeria, Egypt, Jordan, Libya, Morocco, Tunisia;
Sub-Saharan Africa: Burkina Faso, Tanzani, Ghana, Ivory Coast, Kenya, Nigeria, Rwanda, Senegal, Ethiopia, Uganda.

A list of prerequisites for applying for the Scholarship

  • It is a requirement of the program that you must be enrolled full-time and paying tuition at an accredited postsecondary school in an eligible nation or territory at the time of your application and for the whole exchange period. A Designated Learning Institution (DLI) is required for any Canadian post-secondary institution (DLI).
  • Student exchange agreements must be in place that waive tuition fees for scholarship recipients in order to be eligible. Ensure that you meet the qualifying conditions for Government of Canada Scholarships before you begin the application process.
