The Royal Polytechnic Institution was London’s first polytechnic, opening its doors in 1838 as the Royal Polytechnic Institution.

University of Westminster Vice-Chancellor Scholarship pays up to £5,000 per year for living expenses or tuition fees up to a maximum of three years for undergraduates.

Eligibility for University of Westminster Vice-Chancellors Scholarships

  • University of Westminster Vice-Chancellors Scholarship applicants must hold an offer of a full-time undergraduate degree starting at Westminster in September 2022 in order to be eligible.
  • Applicants must also have a household income of less than £25,000, as determined by the Student Loans Company, to be eligible.
  • To apply for the scholarship, you must be a full-time student at an accredited college or university.
  • Scholarship recipients are chosen based on their demonstrated financial need as well as their statements.
  • Candidates must be of African or African-American descent. Those who don’t fulfill the requirements can still apply for other types of financial aid, including grants and loans.
